AEgis Technologies provides Test and Evaluation support across a broad range of applications and across the spectrum from research level T&E to operational T&E. The company has provided superior support in the areas of test planning, test execution, data analysis and reporting, and the development of test instrumentation.

Non-traditional Test and Assessment
AEgis staff has supported over 30 Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations, Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations, and Battlelab Demonstrations over the past 10 years. For the Active Denial System, AEgis was the lead test contractor between 2001 and 2008 under contract to AFOTEC, the Air Force Force Protection Battlelab, and the Joint Non-lethal Weapons Directorate. In this role, AEgis designed an overall assessment strategy for ADS Systems 0, 1, and 2, planned and executed operationally realistic test events in desert, MOUT, and littoral environments, collected and analyzed data, and produced written and multi-media test reports. In addition to the ADS which is a directed energy (HPM), counter-personnel system, AEgis personnel have supported test and assessment of C4I systems, unmanned aerial systems, Chemical and Biological systems, counter explosive systems, and precisions strike systems.
Through a partnership with Laguna Industries, a Native American company, AEgis can provide access to hundreds of thousands of acres of land and airspace in New Mexico to support both government and commercial test activities. Laguna also can provide radio telecommunications testing support as an Army Experimental Test Site certified by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). |

Traditional T&E
AEgis supports traditional T&E – contractor, developmental, and operational – in a variety of ways. For the Developmental Test Command at the White Sands Missile Range, AEgis is supporting T&E of the Future Combat System and directed energy counter-IED systems. For the US Army Space Command, AEgis personnel are supporting the T&E and fielding of systems in support of the Army Strategic Command’s efforts in the Global War on Terror.
As part of our role in support of the Airborne Laser Project Office, AEgis personnel are using initial flight test data to perform VV&A of models used in the design and development of the ABL. This is the first ever grounding of high energy laser M&S with live test data.

T&E Instrumentation
AEgis is providing industry leading development of instrumentation designed to measure high energy laser and high power microwave energy directly on the targets they are aimed at. These programs are funded primarily by the DOD Test and Evaluation Science and Technology Program. More details can be found on our MicroSystems/Nanotechnology page.
To support this work, AEgis maintains laser test facilities in both Huntsville and Albuquerque which are available to support testing needs of both government and industry customers.
| AEgis also provides on-site product manager support to the PM-ITTS. PM-ITTS mission is to manage the acquisition of optimized Instrumentation, Target and Threat System products and services in support of U.S. Army, Department of Defense, Government, Industrial, and International Customers. |
